    one for your diaries, at last week's meeting, we agreed the following date for this year's Cloughton open

    Cloughton Open 2015

    Sunday 13th December 2015

    Fishing Times : 1000 to 1600 Low Water : 1130 approx

    All Prizes for Heaviest Single Cod

    Weigh-in 1600 to 1700 at the Red Lion, Cloughton
    Boundaries – Skinningrove to Spurn Pilot Jetty

    Entry :

    £10 Seniors (Over age of 16 on day of competition)
    £5 Juniors
    Optional Superpool – (Adults & Juniors)
    £2 – 60% Heaviest bag of Cod/ 40% 2nd Heaviest Bag of Cod

    Tickets from Local Tackle Shops – Includes Food at the Weigh-In

    Results from today's Cloughton Open.

    1st equal Pete Dunn & Andy Cass 8lb 2oz
    3rd Steve Coverdale 7lb 15oz

    Superpool- Heaviest Bag of Codlings

    1st Pete Dunn 34lb 7oz
    2nd Mark Thomas 28lb 10oz

    A total of 113 seniors & 3 juniors fished, which is the best turn out for some time, & probably the biggest weigh in I can remember, heaps of 5lb plus fish, & several 20lb plus bags.

    Thanks to all anglers who turned out, good to see a lot of you back at the weigh in.

    Big Thank You to all the Shops who sold tickets for us, & thanks to Katie & the Red Lion for sponsoring the Match & putting the food on.

    and well done pete ,andy ,disco and every one who had fish .
