Use the car park next to the boarding area for the boat. Costs about six pounds for the day.

Thats pretty much the best advice. Free parking is almost non existant.

20/4 is a monday and you should have no problem parking on west cliff. it's only a 10 minute walk to church street and the parking is free on the road.

    Hi All

It's a bit of a bu44er though if you have an eight ton perch over your shoulder - that West cliff's a killer.
Get there in decent time and the 6 quid is well worth it - believe me!!

    Regards

have to agree that if you have a lot of heavy gear it would be a bit of a haul.

More than happy to part with the six quid. Long walk to the car on west Cliff, especially if all your expectations of catching a bumper haul come true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you could always try down towards parkol

you could do what half of the so called 'disabled' tourists do and park on the double yellows opposite the car park

You could do what many anglers do if the car park is full, put all your gear on the boat then find parking, breakfast, tackle shops, most skippers are down early just check with them the night before, but during school holidays the town is a nightmare for parking bank holidays worse, remember just below the fleece pub parking is un rusticated down to parkol boat builders

Its 40 minutes down to the bus stop and then all day after that. Almost impossible to get in though.
