Boat fishing rigs

    any tips on the best rigs to make for our part of the coast?
    I've got a big handful of wire booms but never made any rigs with them,what's best lads?

    if after info for using shads have a look at both rich copes

    & pauls sea otter boat sites, easier to view & see how to rig shads.

    don't use booms ,don't see need for them unless using for a

    long flowing traces etc, beads & spoon set up for flatties

    or running boom ledger with a live bait/sandeel set up.

    agree shads the way with or without bait have not seen a boom in years
    sometimes have a go with a couple of muppets

    Baited hokki can win the day as well, But rhubarb and custard and tiger shads work for me .... funnily enough it seems to be the 3" or 4" work better....than the 6" ;) THEN AGAIN ......

    Keep it simple mate. No need to over complicate things. Less is more especially it u don't get it back. U will be amazed at the simplicity. I second the look at rich and Paul's set ups
