Great site. Well done.
read the site with interest have organised wife and kids to buy me some of the lures
got rod and reel just need to know where to start in redcar area ,what state of tide and what season ie do i wait till march??
I live up in Newcastle and I've not yet fished around Redcar. For us it isn't until about June when you would expect to catch, but from about March or April I will be out trying for Coalies, Wrasse, Cod and Pollock on soft lures.
Dont think Greeny or Wally had many but I did manage a few. Found a better mark further south from there and it produced a couple of better ones. Got a couple of other new ones to try next year.
Fantastic fella.....Just what us beginners want.....
I've just recently added some new stuff there on checking your tackle for the new season. Just basic info but it might help someone.
Looking good
do you fancy adding our bass plug picker. Its embedable
<object width='600' height='800'><param name='movie' value='http://www.whitbyseaanglers.co.uk/bassplugpicker.swf'></param><param name='allowFullScreen' value='true'></param><param name='allowscriptaccess' value='always'></param><embed src='http://www.whitbyseaanglers.co.uk/bassplugpicker.swf' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' allowscriptaccess='always' allowfullscreen='true' width='600' height='800'></embed></object>
To be honest there are a lot of plugs there I have never used and loads more that I would recommend, so as it stands I will politely turn down the offer. It looks like it would be really useful to someone new though.
Ok thanks for your polite refusal.
