    Good news, its a start in the right direction, reducing the blame on anglers for poor stock numbers of bass

    Time the powers that be targetted the real culprits and maybe class bass as a pressure stock species for a few years to help their recovery

    It's only a proposal at the moment, still got to be passed by the EU fisheries ministers. Hopefully very shortly.

    We will keep all laws/rules etc until and after brexit, then we have the option to change or get rid of what we want, There just too many to carte blanche get rid of all them at once. Each rule will be looked at ranging from fishing and immigration all the way down to what size tomatoes are acceptable for uk markets ;) obviuosly some rules will be changed immediatly others will have to wait... Can't wait for proper sized tomatoes :D

    At least we wont have to call Bass, Sea Bass anymore. Not that i do anyway, but i wouldnt mind betting, restaurants, fish mongers etc will keep the name.
