nice pictures bigbob looks like you have been among some nice fish weather looks great Ian k looks like he been among them don't let him get to much sun
Looks good but to be truthfull it's hard going the first day it was blowing its tits off .we was drifting far too fast.averigine one each day per person .its not easy fishing .hard work .also it took us 9 hours on Monday to cross the channel the skippers lad spewed his guts up all the way across .we was all cracked up funny as fck

Just got home, great day in the channel today some great pollock fishing. As for Alderney what a nice place and some good fishing to be had! Great company on the trip so another successful annual trip, great laugh as always, not much sleep, beer, curry, fishing what more do you want? Right now me bed!! D
which boat bob,i fished the banks & races with ted cooke on ANGLO DAWN hes not skippering it anymore ,but we got lots of bass & brill with him

You not missed alot v.good fishing but its still well well off. Mid wrecks pants and ground patchy still.
we sailed out of salcombe with ted cooke, he said right lads on the way to guernsey we fish for the boat to sell the catch ,,bloody huge doubles /trebles of cod each drop 4 anglers fishing each drift with killer gear 2000lb of cod it was amazeing angling , then 2 days on the alderne y banks for good bass and brill (odd turbot too ) on the way home skip says all you catch is yours now lads to take home , ling .pollock ling pollock not one bloody cod caught ,,makes you think dosent it ha ha

Cheers Rob, was gutted for the tigrs! Still what a year for them. While we were away I kept looking at our forecast and kept saying its a good job it's nice in Alderney cos we are missing a belter at home, what a place though can imagine that the shore fishing would be something speicial to. I took spinning gear in the event of a day been cancelled but didn't need it, loads of good looking rock marks. D
