in total last season i had 60 bass all returned , less than the previous years .
but still a decent year realy ,best catch was 14 in one 3hr session
and lost 3 and missed plenty more .all on aubsurface lures
best session was 25 fish in 4hrs same again missed and lost a few .
all caught on a home made patchinkco.lookalike surface lure

my first bass this year ray came from a very heavy swell and thick colour
i didnt expect a fish ,but useing a lure same as that one i gave you today
i had 5 bass upto 5ib the fish were in maybe 3ft of water in the swells
    missed a couple to .
but it wasnt to long after they showed up the fishing was great for a month then the nets appeared and it made it a hard slog .plus lots of weed in the water didnt help .

bass fishing is the same as cod fishing if you can find them then they will still have to feed ,beaches are full in summer you just need the right lures and retreives to catch them .a bit more daunting on the holderness
    but there there

That murky water was an eye opener for too Andy I couldn't believe the fish we was getting in it them new lures really did do the biz for us.(nice and slow). :)

they will be great in the dark
