31 Pounder Leads The Way - Whitby Angling Festival

    In The Autumn angling festival a 31 pounder caught yesterday by Terry Harrison from Halifax leads the way.

    The results so far are as follows:

    Day 1 - 1st Sept 2007

    • John Passey - Leeds - 11-14 Ling - Shytorque 2000
    • Iain Welsh - Darlington 9-6 - Ling - Never Can Tell
    • Andrew Calvert - Newcastle - 6-3 - Ling Shytorque

    Day 2 2nd Sept 2007
    • Alan Coates - Darlington - 8-13 Ling - Charisma
    • Colin Thrower - B Auckland - 6-0 Cod - Charisma
    • Alan Coates - Darlington - 5-11 Pollock - Charisma

    Day 3 3rd Sept 2007
    CANCELLED FOR POOR WEATHER

    Day 4 4th Sept 2007

    Not yet Chris, I'm hoping Rich Ward will send me a pic at some point.

    I haven't been involve with the festival so far (hence the lack of reports and pictures) as I've been fishing most of the Filey matches.

    Thats a good ling -Well done.
    Its amazing how the weights have improved with the improving conditions and tides it just goes to show that they are down there. Bet the next few days bring out some more crocs.
    Whats happened to the two Pauls who usually dominate the leader board??

    Here it is Chris, Rich Ward the Shytorque skipper has emailed the pictures through tonight.

    Apparently this angler caught 2 on the same trace, the second weighed 12 pounds meaning he pulled up a total of 44 pounds.
