While this has been bumped - JHTF do you get a 160 Skate to the surface in a Kayak? No offence to Kayak anglers but why doesn't the Skate just sink your tiny little bubble float of a boat?

because the guys bring the skate up at the bow of the yak if you where to try and bring it up sitting side saddle there is only one place you would end up and that in the pond head first
once you have the skate up then you can bring it along side to unhook it most times there is someone there to help you
[IMG] as far as i know Lozz as had the biggest skate upto now a fish of 208 lbs

and my mate Rab had one of 217lbs
im sure there will be a few trips this next year should you want to come along and give it a go tightlines Alain

So you attach your 160 Skate to a mini trawler and hoist it out with your Kayak acting as a big £€kin 'intelligent' float?
