Decided against trip upto Runswick in favour of a daylight bash on the holderness coast. Tried Dimmo. A very good beach which looks 'fishy'. After 20 questions from the police at gasworks made my way down cliff onto beach. Bait frozen salted blacks n squid. Conditions light s/w wind, blue sky, small s/e swell and sea light chocolate. Managed 2 bites in 5 hrs. 1st resulted in a bang, strike then nowt a story of 2008. About an hr after high I got a belting slack liner. Thought I'd hooked a nice cod as it was banging the whole way in, only to be surprised by this little beauty!!

nice fish mate, thats not the first this winter, is it a result of Global warming , not only are we getting more Bass in the summer now but also they seem to be hanging about throught the winter ? i wonder if they breed in this latitude now ?
