Web cams are a very useful tool for all users of the sea including anglers. If your planning a fishing trip and want to look at the sea conditions then a visit to the web cam sites listed below can be beneficial. Please remember health and safety though, read the weather forecasts and contact the coastguards if in doubt to make sure you are safe and the weather does not spoil your day.

when I try to view the webcams On my new computer all I get is " active x cannot be registered on this computer " I have searched the web and tried all of the free downloads ??? ??? can anyone help ??

Im assuming your on IE7. If so try this.

select tools from the menu, then select internet options, then select security, then select custom level.

You will probably find that all the active X settings are off or disabled. Switch them all to prompt and see if that sorts the problem.

If it works you should in future be asked if you want to run active X. Be very careful about what sites you allow to use this as some unscrupulous people use it to cause you harm. Allow only those sites you know and trust.
