Just been to West House for a few hours. The place isnt generally my type of water, but its an excellent fishery to say the least. I fished it about six times last year and wasn't dissapointed at any time. The Rainbows are as physically perfect as you will get and fight like tigers. My first fish today took me at least ten minutes to land, and it only weighed just over three pounds.

The design of the lakes are strange indeed, but the Mill lake is one of the best buzzer waters i've ever fished. I dont think i've been there and not seen a hatch occuring, and the fish respond accordingly. They have also stocked Browns in, as well as Rainbows now.

P.s, The Fox Lake has not been stocked, so if anyone goes, obviously, dont fish it. It may sound daft, but a couple of anglers fished that lake today.

If you ever fancy a go there Dan, just give me a shout. Its a difficult place to find, believe it or not. The first time i went, it took me about an hour to find the place.

Hi Dan. The sporting tickets are catch and release only. If you catch 20 fish then you release 20 fish. The other ticket prices are for taking a fish limit.
