RICHARD Landsbury won the final of the Peter Hedley Memorial Winter Series at West House, catching the fish that gave him the trophy seconds before the final whistle.
He snapped up up £250 and a season ticket for the Bishopton venue after a thrilling final contested by all 24 qualifying anglers, including several England internationals.

ANGLERS who visit Northumbrian Water’s premier fisheries in the coming season can bank on £500,000 being spent on at least 165,000 trout.
Northumbrian Water aims to maintain its position as the leading provider of stillwater game fishing in Northern Europe with major investment in its business which attracted 55,000 angler visits last season.
The rod average was three fish per angler visit last year.
