open match today at woodlands

today  i thougt i would give it a go on the open on skylark and partridge  i drew partridge started off well steady stream of carp not the size that the lad nxt to me had tho  ended up with 95 lb 8 oz  would have had my first match 100 but lost a 6lber at the net right on the whistle  and came nowhere .the lad next to me had 138 lb anjd he came nowhere i have never seen so many 100s before 170lb won it bert poole second 156 third 148 4rth 144  bloody good days fishing !
