Alright chaps,

With the weather warming up I've decided its time to bite the bullet and invest in pole to do a bit of carping over summer. Fishing places like woodlands, oaks etc

Never pole fished before so not looking at spending a fortune on my first one so probably something second hand that will do for a couple of years then I can decide if its really for me. The father also wants one as hes a bit more into the course side than sea fishing.

Anyone got any recomendations or selling any old gear? I really dont have the foggiest idea what I need etc etc

Cheers
Phil

phil i can get u a margin pole 10mtrs for the 100 pound mark if you want somthing a bit longer shimano do a technium 13 half meter this will be a better pole ie you will be able to fish to the islands on the canal style lakes say 300 fully elasticated for now your sheakspear box will probably suffice  then just floats etc if you want next time you come to the oaks will probably be able to get u fully kitted up with a bit of discount too  tease
