I used to wear neoprenes but stopped because they are too hot during the summer, and they leak. Even if your'e lucky and they dont leak, you end up soaking anyway because of sweating in them. I now wear the felt sole PVC waders and i cant fault them. All the neoprenes and breathables i have owned eventually started to leak. The nack about buying waders, is to think how you treat them when you are using them. I go marching through all types of terrain then moan when they start to leak. Having said that, i have always found neoprenes to leak anyway. The two pairs of neoprenes i've owned have always eventually ended up as 90% Aquasure. It was the same with my mates waders too. In fact i think it was just as expensive buying Aquasure, as it was buying the waders in the first place. The ones i have are PVC waist waders, but i may go back to full chesties.
Nevertheless, everyone has their own experience with waders, which influence their views on which type to buy.
