Huge Turtles And Salmon Fishing In Ireland.
« on: April 06, 2008, 08:08:19 PM »
Did anyone see the programme on BBC 2 yesterday tea time when the salmon netters and the scientists in Ireland worked together to tag those huge leatherback turtles ? I really felt for the Salmon netter as it was to be the last year before the netting was closed down. I know there will be those for and against commercial fish netting but this was just one old guy in a small boat who had known nothing else in his life and saw no wrong in what he was doing.
