castle howard ?

Its a shame i use to fish Castle howard when i was younger, We use to catch some cracking bream and tench,

Heard it was a big pike spot woody, i did once catch a pike 5-6lb it took a worm bait intended for bream or tench, also caught a cracking eel around the 4lb mark...

Shame that- I always fancied a spot of plugging down there.

it holds the record for the uks biggest brace of pike not certain of the size tho think one was high 30s n one 40 lb think it was the water baliff there was the capter  :cheesy:
