I can't get out until tomorrow and to be honest think I'll sidestep freshwater in favour of some early bass from 'you know where'.

If there isn't to much rain then I might pop down to Danby for a few hours tomorrow, fished yesterday evening at Gilling West (Thornaby AC water) and managed one little 1lb rainbow. Was nice to be out fly fishing again  yes

It was alright Dave, not my usual sort of venue (prefer somewhere a tad more natural) but it's a canny place to spend an evening fly fishing now and again.
