I can quite believe it Ian, after seeing the size of the Seatrout being devoured by cormorants at the Tees Barrage. I've never seen them eat flatties though. Nice pics mate.

I wouldnt be surprised boro boy. I bet the one eating the pike just went on fishing as normal afterwards.  In general cormorants are considered pests in the angling world, but they are amazing birds-great hunting, eating machines.  No wonder the Japs or whoever use them for catching fish, as they will never blank.
