This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

northerly winds are not good for boat fishing mate.. anything more than 10mph don't bother.
the forecast is giving light winds for saturday, but  the wind has been out that way most of the week so there will probably be a fair bit of swell..

northerly, northeasterly, northwesterly, easterly and southeast are all winds to avoid around here unless they are light...southwest is best...on this part of the coast it blows straight off the land ;D

northerly winds will stir up up the water inside you will need to get out into deeper water' unless you are going to be fishing with bait. you can boat fish in northerly winds, but like i said anything over 10 mph (unless you are in a 30 footer) you might as well stay at home, because it won't be pleasure trip you'll wish you'd never set off..

I totally agree with Steerser.
If your not sure DONT GO Thats my philosophy.
This sea is horrible at the moment I arent going off in it.
You only have to get it wrong once.
Plus the water is too dirty anyhow, to make it worth while, in my opinion.
