WHITBY LIFEBOAT - RNLI CHARITY AUCTION BY WHITBY CHARTER SKIPPERS

The Chairman of Whitby Charter Skippers Paul Kilpatrick has announced that the skippers will be holding an auction in aid of the RNLI during the presentation event for the summer 2008 boat angling festival.

Paul says -

They deserve every penny we can raise so if anybody would like to donate a prize for the auction you can pm me or drop it off at my pub The Ship  Inn opposite Whitby angling supplies

I will post more details of the event as and when I receive them.

Yes glen we are holding a charity auction for the RNLI this was decided before the latest tradgety unfolded hopefully we can raise a substantial ammount of cash its well worthy cause.

Local buisnesses have  are already come forward with some great prizes it looks like its going to be massive.

I run a power tool business, if you send me the address of the pub plus postcode I will find something suitable and despatch with a courier

Thanks to all those who have donated prizes and cash, so far we have several good items donated by the forum members which Paul now has ready for the auction, and £70 cash/cheques.
