Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year To All Our Members And Guests

Polite Notice

This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

whitby day trip
« on: April 28, 2008, 03:56:58 PM »
well had my first time out boat fishing after being a freshwater fisherman most of my early days. went out on the sea otter 2 what can i say really enjoyed the day. weather could have been better was quite wet but the fishing was quite good. missed a few bites and lost a big one (i know i know they all say that) but i really did. ended up with a nice cod a small ling and a couple of codling. my m8 who was a complete fishing virgin also caught so good day all round. now i find myself looking forward to my next trip when i can afford prob late summer could even be next year. also looking out for some cheep tackle so i don't have to hire it again so any links to cheep tackle sites would be most welcome thanks chaps

Sounds like you had a good day on Sea Otter 2. Did you use Pauls new rods on the boat ?
