Polite Notice

This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

Hi Benson,

All the information you need is in this topic. Best methods are bait and shads. The Current leading fish was caught on a storm 4 inch crystal tiger swim shad.

Before we get inundated with complaints from Save Our Sharks, the gaff was only used to pull the line to the side of the boat so they could unhook the shark. As the clip says the shark was returned unharmed.

Yes still the 20 pounder at the top. The poor weather seems to have sloed down the amount of decent fish we were seeing. Hopefully once this swells gone and the tides decrease in size we will see some bigger fish again, and maybe a new leader.

The lifeboat crew were off today with Malcolm on Sea Spray. They had nothing big but enjoyed their day all the same.

This picture is from Yesterday and is a 9 pound 1 ounce catfish caught by Billy Black On Paul Kilpatrick's boat Sea Otter 2.

Nice photo's glenn,

Looks a nice Halibut, I'd rather eat that than the Catfish i caught on trot on

what an ugly fish that was, gave it away to a lad on the boat.

going back out on tuesday on Trot on, so here's hoping.

thanks for the daily updates.
