This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

Its always worth taking a look but they arent that accurate. Best bet is to look on Sat and Sunday really.

A lot of people swear by this for wind and I would agree that percentage wise its the most accurate.

If the forecast stays true mate,i would give it a miss,i presume you are asking about the east coast,if so a south easterly as forecast is a snotty little sea, especially in places with strong tides. If you are pretty new to the game,i would wait for a better day, lightish westerly or south westerly should be ok,better safe than foolish.Keep your eyes on it though,it might have changed by tomorrow. If it is s/east and you launch, within an hour you will be thinking "shouldn't have bothered" only my opinion pal...tight lines

I usually look at the Met office forecast at :-

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/yh/whitby_forecast_weather.html

Their predictions are in 3hr chunks and from past experience would say they are amazingly accurate
