Polite Notice

This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

I know it is very early but I have to book leave frm work well in advance for the forth comong year.
It would really help me if the dates for the major open matches for this coming winter season could be posted so that I can start puting leave requests in at work.

Cheers in anticipation of help. Jellyworm.

I'm sure we arranged our Filey Festival to start Saturday 30th August and to finish on Sunday 7th September. The first Sunday match is good prize money and Penn Point Registered(can hear Lobbers lips licking fron here). But the main match is the final Sunday which is our North of England Codling which is £500 and also Penn point Registered.I'm nearly sure the two Saturday matches are Penn Points too,Wec will have to confirm all this though, hope this helps.......tight lines  wink happy Will also get the date for our Foords Open summer match, for some reason the 8th of June rings a bell...
