swivel , not that type either .....

A bit of a daft one lads , has anyone had swivels off e bay ?  are they just cheap crap that are liable to let me down when im reeling in the 20 lber that has my name on it ?..my local tackle shop does swivels were i normally get them from but ive a distinct feeling that they are also cheap crap , just the fact that they are in little clear bags as though they have bought them by the 1000 and bagged them up themselves.....the reason i ask is because a few weeks ago i had a swivel that let me down when tying a few rigs up , which i was very shocked at as the rating on the swivel was around 80lb i think ,. unless it just me being a strong son of a guner  ;D...cheers

Back to confidence again Dav, I wouldn't compromise on terminal tackle, it's the most important part of your tackle, would only buy known brands, you don't want to lose that 20 lber when it comes along due to a crap swivel

Best advice possible. Dont skimp mate. Whitby Rods And Reels has some good swivels and snap swivels (in clear bags but that's because they buy them in bulk from the wholesaler and bag them up).

the big one ray ,the one thats swimming around offshore scoffing herring for fun , ,the one thats over a score in weight and has decided to come in close and sniffle the trap i have set for it ....,,and the one with my name all over it ...... ;D ;D
