Out for my weekly fish and decided on a change of venue, decided on With. Arrived 3.45am, set up and fishin by 4am. After about 10 mins a classic cod bite, a couple of pulls followed by slack line, felt resistance and new it was a half decent fish, managed to beach it on one of the many swells, a nice plump 6lb3oz codling. Heart racing rebaited and cast in. After only 5 minutes 2 big pulls followed by a clonking pull and slack line, how did I manage to miss it???? Managed a couple more mised bites and a 2lb bass before I headed off home. Took camera this time but NO spare batteries.

well done m8 dont know whats happning at hornsea you have had a stompa at with young lad had a cracker off ulrome but i think they know its me at hornsea and are refuseing intrest lol in mine ill keep plodding along lol enyways well done

Was plenty of fish on Sunday down there, me and chopper had 6 between us in the lifeboat match with chopper getting a bass about 3lb the cod were all a similar size too and in reference to another post they had pipefish in them.

Went to Mappleton last night. Had two five pounders and a mop. Fished with worm, but the fish were chocker with hard back crabs. Looks like the bait should be peeler from now on.
