This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

Well its the ship open this next sunday on the long range it looks changeable all week i think by wednesday we will have an insight into what the conditions look like so fingers crossed for a bit of swell from some direction remember this is a biggest fish competition and the match goes into the darkness it gives evererybody a great chance of winning you could get the big one on your last cast of the match that what makes it a little bit more exciting remember tickets are on sail at the following tackle shops-

Redcar angling
keith sports saltburn
Whitby angling supplies
Castlefooot tackle shop scarborough
Bill costin tackle shop scarborough.
GB angling scarborough

Going to give this a go again- Hopefully my luck will have changed by the weekend.
It was a hard day last year but the crack in the pub afterwards more than made up for it.

im gutted about the ship being on the same day as the easington, i have good ideas about snicking a fish in the ship, but greed is taking me to the £2000 heaviest fish easington open, not greed for the money(of which i could'nt give a toss), but for the possible pp's evil.

why both on same day angry
