Polite Notice

This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

Thanks!

Have I asked the question wrong, or have I been sent to coventry for whatever reason, or is just as simple as nobody will rebuild a rods any more.

Are you all thinking it is that easy I should be doing it myself !!!!

Bill Costing in scarborough is meant to be a pretty good place for it.

Guy from Redcar does them and IMO makes a really good job. Contact keith sports at Saltburn and they will sort you out. Or maybe GJW knows the guys contact details ?

Yes Keith in Hornsea ( East Coast Tackle) still does them also. Or at least he did last time I asked.

SKL

If your based in York, try Chas Burns at Hookes and Tackle, Huntington.  He's rebuilt several fly rods and spinning rods for me over the years.
