This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

Glen like you say we do get a few kelpys up here , but for somereason i m o  ;D...i dont think up here compares with the likes of filey, ravenscar, and all them other alien places for summer cod , i like to be fishing into deep water when after them , maybe its just like you say in that no one ever seems to target them ,maybe a confidense thing ...ive heard of a few places around here but to make the journey on a flat clear day for cod  just doesnt seem right to me maybe down to to many blanks in those conditions ,wereas fishing the places mentioned above for cod on a flat clear day seems right , much prefare to make the journey when theres a sea on , again a confidense thing ....if we did do it regular wed probably get shocked and bag up with fish ,including bass  :)...maybe ....

Well done lads. The sea looked beautiful today. It had lost the venom of yesterday and just looked like their would be fish everywhere. :) :)

Now come on ramrod , if i told you that it wouldnt be a secret ,would it  ;D......i think it needs abit of fine tuning, does that rig on my part ......i was using my newer rod yesterday like ,just to see how it went on the rough stuff , it handled it great , it`s certainly a strange rod like , when  i get a bite with it the last quarter of the rod seems to go into spring mode which seems very weired....it,l take some getting use to like .......any one for a M4 zippy  ...220  notes   ;D....
