Polite Notice

This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

It,s pretty much what I expected to be honest. Even taking into account the popularity of all the make,s of rod you can,t deny that the ZZipies are by far the most trustworthy. I just wish they,d stop making those awful Dymics  nerd

Couldn't agree more Ray,it's without doubt the numbest rod i have ever bought and used  educated butt

Yeah those Long EZ,s, snapped mine, so borrowed my mates and snapped that on the casting court the next day.
Went to see Simon Chilcott at Century rods who gave us the new beefed up version, which turned out to be the EZ Sport. Couldn't manage to break that one though.

got a century F1 was my first proper rod bought it about 8-10 years ago....stuck it up in the loft....just had it re-built...love it.....despite having a ttr..an AFAW rock and Match the Century F1 is my fav rod.....lovely sliced glass tip and a really powerful butt....may not have the crisp edge some of the new rods have but...it has been chucked down Blea Wyke.....scratched and bashed down Bemmo but it comes back for more and handles 7oz and show a bite a treat...why have I spent a fortune on other rods....why not lol....still hanker after a zzippy just can t decide which one.

I had a long E-zee port which was nice but not a patch on the 216 sport, which I would say is still right up there with my all time favourite rock rods  yes  Its a shame that century do not bring out a slimmed down modern day equivalent
