Fluro Carbon Line For Bass ?

Who uses Flurocarbon lines for Bass, if so do you believe there is any advantage to using it ?

What do you use with regard to :

Brand
Breaking Strain
Length of leader

Also where is the best place to buy it from ?

i like my sakuma or berkley stuff, 12lb and 30lb not sure if it cant be seen but is nice and limp, very hard wearing and relatively easy to tie knots in, only down side is the price compared to normal mono. its a pain in the butt if you snap off and have to re-tie to the braid like...i usually dont bother then. i like it for my hooks snoods though  :yes:

I use flourocarbon from the likes  suffix invisiline and various other brands 15 20 and 30lb strains with leaders of about a foot , i mainly tie it to braid with a simple back to back uni knott with more turns on the braid , which has never failed me , even when pulling for a break..i don know the cheaper flourocarbon lines snap very easy if not knotted spot on   :yes: . i get me line from mail order companies ,especially across the pond were a big saving of money is gained , which i find a shame ,
 i mainly use a leader to prevent the trebble ripping into the braid  :cry:, i think the other added attractiion of flourocarbon is its totally invisible to the human eye ,which i must say can only help matters , i also heard flourocarbon line is slightly heavier than mono , but not sure of what  effect it would have ......to be honest i have used normal clear line the likes of amnesia and  never had a great deal of a problem , but i have alot more confidense with flourocarbon , so that is what i use .... :yes: :yes:

im very impressed with the stren in 30lb for snoods and hooklengths, very stiff so it doesnt tangle, ideal to let a mag popper or walk the dog lure cast and retrieve without hooking on itself (the only lures i use a leader on)

Agree with Baza and Dav ,tried Berkley Vanish(14lb) now using Varivas(25lb) definately helps when using surface plugs and helps prevent damage to braid from hooks and rough ground.
