Polite Notice

This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

the meeting with natural england  took placeat the rugby club bridlington, (bridlington shore anglers club H.Q) 24/4/08

and the final outcome is that an experimental no take zone is to be put in place on the south side of flamborough head , roughly between sewerby steps and danes dyke also it will extend 700 metres seaward measured straight out from the cliff baseline along the entire length of shoreline between the two points which means the N.T.Z. will have the original proposed  geographical limits proposed by those present at the earlier meeting back in february
-described in natural englands response as option 1

this of course means that options 2 & 3 are no longer being pursued by natural england
