lol, i prefer a more sporting way, 5lb line and a running ledger with a size 14 hook baited with worm ;)

and yer dav i must have seen 20 fish jump in the 2 hours i was ther mostly around 8 o clock, but i had the fish at 6 when none were jumping ???

one thing i do regret is the fish was full of eggs and i wouldnt have kept it if i knew :-[

I wouldnt worry too much mate. There are plenty more. I bet it went like doggy do do off a stick in that narrow little beck didnt it.

Takes me back to me school days when we used to get a few in Staithes beck, usually by less sporting methods than yourself. Think it was Ringer who led us astray.
