Well Done To Ryan Vasey AKA Ryanfish For Winning The Whitby Fishing Club Junior Section.

Polite Notice

This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

I mean i only thought they banned lead swan shot was because the thick swans  use to scran it , greedy buggers ,serves em right ..
Apparantly the reason for it , is the E.U parliament are saying that they want to uprgrade the list of toxic substances , governed by E.U laws on water quality ,it also voted to upgrade a number of these substances to a higher toxicity , meaning member states  will have to phase out lead by 2015,,,,,,,, from a magazine i was reading ..........so what are them big wig tarts saying ....leads toxic  ;D....
Now they tell us ,ive been drinking out of them for 30 year  ;D
i still cant sea how the use of lead weights in sea fishing is causing the sea to be toxic ,, what about ships and all the doggy do doe they pump out ,,,,,wats going on with the world....its gone prawn crackers.........

i know it can be toxic but only in high doses and i reckon there is enough nth sea to dilute it beyond it being a problem and with rising water levels it should have even less effect !!!

HMMM.......NEXT ONLY FISHING WITH YOUR BACK TO THE SEA CASTING UNDERARM WILL BE PROPOSED....
