boat fishing appeal.

Long shot I know, but not being a boat owner or having enough work mates who are interested in going out I am struggling to get out.

Is anybody on here who has a boat prepared to help out , willing to contribute to fuel , but would need showing the ropes re boat angling. Travel not a problem have car so can make any launch site.

I work shifts but only work 3-4 days at a time then at least 2 days off, early turns I finish at 3 so can be up near Whitby for about 5pm for an evening trip.
I am going to buy some boat kit for, using on my yak so would only need advice on fishing not kit .

your welcome to come with me dave as i mainly go on my own.i'm 10 miles north of whitby at staithes.i work shifts as well and the only day i wouldn't be able to go is my quick return day but most others i can manage a few hours.

Hey thanks for that matey I shall p.msge you with my moile number and then i ll hopefully swap numbers and we can sort out a trip out. I am just getting all my gear together so will need a week or two.

yes glenn i often go on an evening.don't go too far either so you shouldn't feel too sick  ;).some of the best fishing is just off cowbar jetty and evenings are quite productive.later on in the summer we sometimes go spinning for sea trout just outside the harbour and have done ok for them.you'll have to come along for that as well. >:(
