Lol I Could'nt Believe It Tho I Got them both On Mackeral And Squid Lol I was going 4 Whiting and suddenly got 2 cod

Had this baby 2 yrs ago, 200yds of a Holderness beach, obviously a boat caught fish but what the hell.

Doh I thought I might get a few gasps of awe before someone twigged, yup its the famous Ringboro but, all 17lbs of it.

This is my 2nd best Yorkshire spotty (4lb 14oz) caught Whitby 1995(ish), best was 5lb 6 or 8oz, back in the early 80's from Brid musselbeds, didn't have a camera in those days.  Had a lot more hair though, even in 95!!!!!

Yeah its the Emulator Alan.  We were doing a trawl survey off the Holderness coast and one of the tows was close to the shore, about 200 metres off.  After 30 mins we hauled, opened the cod end and out dropped that Halibut mad as hell.  Weighed 17lb some 14hrs later, lovely fish and tasted just as good as it looked, although I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. :) :)
