Polite Notice

This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

Just had Paul Kilpatrick on the phone. His opening line was "Ive just had the bag of fish I should of had yestarday"

Fished for only 2 hours and He's had 4 fish for 30+ pounds including 1 of 16 pounds, officially weighed at Whitby Angling Supplies.

Here we go boys. A big cod for big cod. The fish weighed exactly 16 pounds 0 ounces and was weighed this afternoon at Whitby Angling Supplies. Well done to Paul Kilpatrick on yet another great fishing achievement.  :)

The landing of the fish makes for very interesting reading with a long fight and nearly loosing the fish at the last minute, but I'll let Paul decide whether he wishes to share that with the forum  :)
