This is a sea angling forum for the debate of all angling related topics, including: shore fishing, boat and kayak fishing. Here you will find pictures of anglers going sea fishing and catching fish. You will find angling related debate. Sometimes anglers will retain fish for the table. Whilst we respect the personnal choice of anglers to follow catch and release practices, this is not a conservation forum and devout conservationists unable to accept anglers sensibly retaining fish should seek out alternative forums. Anyone preaching catch and release or criticising other peoples reports will have their posts removed.

In my humble opinion, these cannot be beat. (The dps ones)

You have to alter them by cutting and adding a coaster so you can clamp them to the blank.
Well worth the effort i think as they sit very close to the blank and i have no problem gripping my multiplier spool, even with my small hands.

I use the Abu Trigger lock....I can grip the reel ok...some love them some hate them......beware fitting to a Snap-a-flex though !.....got them on my Anyfish and Century rods with no problems.
Been toying with the Fuji with a slit gut and coaster tho as they do sit closer and are less bulky.

How wide is the Apollo Ken  ?

They make them up to 27.8 My old Century F1 needed one that size over the shrink tube .
