Well, I wouldn't recommend today.  I'm reading this from Rindal, Norway, and I've 1.5m snow outside my hotel window! 

All the locals tell me it's really warm in the summer and you can swim in the lakes, but at present, you can only cross them on skis...

Looks a fishing paradise, at least what I can imagine under all that snow
