Plug caught bass for Buzz on the yak
« on: May 23, 2009, 06:52:47 PM »
Well think our Buzz Lightyear (ian) has had the first plug caught bass of the year (unless someone knows differently  )

We launched this morning and have had a good days paddling and fishing, other than Buzz's fish there really was not much more to report, well done mate. No picture of said fish as our Buzz doesn't like the attention  :cheesy: but managed to get this pic of the miester at work today...

A cracking day spoilt again this afternoon by the blasted wind, I had set up a sliding float rig and was looking forward to having a good go with this. The cod were slow and we all lost a couple of fish. Got to say Buzz's nephew has taken to the kayak very well and rode some quite good chop home and a very nice beach landing with quite a bit of surf on. Just a short trip today with only 12 miles on the gps  :cheesy: .

well done Ian. the first of many this year no doubt
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.
