Bad weather but absolutely superb fishing!

Many thanks to the Crew, and special thanks to the cook!! Only fishing trip I've been on where I have put weight on!! Excellent food and excellent hospitality. Really looking forward to my next trip, hopefully September (Cant Wait!) Highly recommended.

Cheers

Fantastic fish, was talking to George on the phone today and he said that they had a couple of fish in the 30lb (cod) class on the same trip.
Great report and again unbelievable fishing on the chieftain.
Tommy.

Why do fish like these not live on the inshore waters ? Every year chieftain gets a few around this size but I dont recall any over 30lb from inside of 20 miles.

Congratulations on your catch, if I might ask a question did you fish any gear above the perk ie muppets or hokies.
I ask the question because it has been my observation on the few trips I made on the Cheiftain back in JBs day that the better fish of which I was lucky enough to get a few sempt to come to a single perk.
This was not set in stone but curtainly a trend.
Of course this means you can only catch one fish at a time., so for this period of your fishing you need to decide are you a fish monger or an angler trying to catch a better than average fish..
A dilemer in many cases, in others no contest, the muppets win.
Good luck on your future trips
Charles
