Here it is. Many thanks to the team at Sea Angler Magazine for sending it on free of charge.

The British cod record caught at Whitby in 1992 by Noel Cook weighed 58 pounds 8 ounces and was caught onboard Stu Johnstons boat Sea Treck. It was very unusual that the fish did not come from a wreck where most large fish are caught. Instead it was caught on a piece of rough ground not far off the coast of Whitby. Proving you do not need to head to the back of beyond to catch the big ones.
