Some cracking water on the Tyne and Coquet at a reasonable price per season.
Superb salmon fishing, good sea trout fishing and some canny browns as well.

Ian, i've joined this club twice and enjoyed the waters they have, especially the Coquet, it a gorgeous river. I liken it to the Esk, more accessible, but further afield.

A superb river Dave.
I don't know whether you know Felton at all but theres a hexagnol house beside the river there- that was my Great, Great Grandmothers house.
Now if only that was still in the family!!

I do know Felton a bit Ian, i used to park outside The Northumbriam Arms pub (i think thats what it was called) prior to fishing. To be honest though, i cant recall the house, but i bet i would recognise it if i saw it again. Like you say though, shame it wasnt still in your family.
