Has anyone fished whitehaven recently? Anything catching? Are there any good marks nearby? Cheers.

I think there should be a few Plaice showing at Whitehaven at this time of year oly, also the area around workington could be worth a go for the plaice, First cliff and Black bank area's i have found best, but i am no expert just going on knowledge i have picked up fishing there in the past.... Maxie on this forum would be the man to give you up to date info...
Tightlines..

the piers are alright for plaice and plenty of marks between workington and maryport best from low water up,still slow for plaice but its still early.youll need a calm day though.
traces 2 or 3 hook flapper or clipped baits rag/lug and crab
