Flamborough Lifeboat Rescues Kayaker With Dislocated Shoulder

A MAN who suffered a dislocated shoulder when he capsized his kayak was plucked to safety by the Flamborough lifeboat team.
A group of around six kayakers were paddling in the sea at the end of Flamborough Head at 11am on Sunday when one of them capsised his craft and injured himself.

Luckily for the man, the Flamborough lifeboat team were out on exercise and as they passed the kayakers they stopped when they realised one of them was in difficulty.

The injured man was picked up by the lifeboat and taken back to shore where an ambulance was waiting to take him to hospital to receive treatment for a dislocated shoulder.
