Coast magazine, in association with joules clothing, will be visiting Flamborough Head on Saturday 27th September for its annual beach clean – and we’d love to invite readers and beach-lovers from around the Yorkshire coast to join us!
It promises to be a fun-filled day for all the family; after a morning of rockpooling under the guidance of marine biologists from the Marine Conservation Society, we’ll be sitting down to a hearty fish and chip lunch before cleaning two local beaches. Previous Coast Beach Cleans – held most recently held in Sussex and Dorset – have proved extremely popular events, a day for likeminded people to come along, meet the team and learn all about our fabulous shores. At the end of the day we’ll be awarding spot prizes – and no-one leaves without a goody bag!
The day costs £20 per person (under 5s go free and it’s £12 for children aged between 6 and 15). This includes coffee on arrival, lunch, tea/coffee in the afternoon and a wonderful goody bag. There will be free parking and public transport to Flamborough Head is available via bus from Bridlington. To book your place or to find out more please call us on 01959 543547.
Full details are on the poster attached.
