Bill Costin’s Scarborough Tackle Shop

Anyone who knows sea angling in Yorkshire knows Bill Costin who runs the local tackle shop in Scarborough. Bill has fished the north east coast for as long as he cares to remember and boasts many great catches from both shore and boat.

In more recent times Bill has turned his attentions to his Scarborough based tackle shop, appropriately named – Coso’s by the locals. What started out as a small time lead making business has turned into one of the best angling related businesses in the region. From the early days when Bill worked alone, the shop has now grown significantly and employs several locals who work hard making weights and running the shop on a daily basis.

Making Leads At Bill Costins

All the locals use bill for their tackle and bait. The shop is very welcoming and the kettle is usually on. There is a huge supply of tackle on offer, and most importantly it is the right tackle for the job. How many times do you walk in tackle shops and they dont have what you want ? Bill stocks only the very best appropriate tackle, you wont be disappointed here.

All the locals use the shop, and whenever you call there are usually a hand full of very friendly lads in the shop, most are excellent anglers, making the shop a great place for local information as well as tackle.
