Whitby Angling Festival results 2007

 CATEGORY  FINAL  WINNERS

This Years overall Winner in the Whitby angling festival was Craig Simmons from Harrogate with a ling of 21 pounds 10 ounces caught from Rich Wards boat Shytorque. Craig will collect a cheque for £1500 from the Whitby charter skippers, he will also receive tackle prizes for winning the festivals ling category and has already won £50 as a daily prize winner. Second place in the festival overall went to John Wilcock who also fished on Shytorque and landed a ling of 20 pounds 8 ounces. Third place went to Whitby's Mike Bessenger with a ling of 20 pounds 7 ounces.
